Chrissy and John!

Christine and John got married, and what a night it was! Beautiful ceremony, beautiful weather, and some Dave Matthews played during the reception! People who know me know how psyched I was for that. :) I'll be working on photos as time permits, but for now here are a few.

Waterfront tonight

It was such a nice night, that after cutting the grass and eating dinner, Sue and I figured we'd take advantage of the late light and go check out the sunset at the waterfront. Of course, I took my cameras with me - the E3 and the D700 - and took some shots. The sunset was fair, though not the best I'd seen. I did get some keepers though - check them out!

I just got back from shooting Laura and Trevor's wedding - What a fun bunch! Trevor is Tyler's brother, from Kacie and Tyler's wedding back in December - so a lot of the same folks were at the ceremony and reception. It was a long day, but a great time - I'll have the photos up soon! For now, here are a few...

Vegas, Zion, and Page

I just got back from a wedding in Vegas and a side trip to Zion National Park and Page, AZ. The weather was pretty poor in Zion, and getting good photos was difficult. I visited Antelope Canyon in Page, though, and things were much, much better. 

I have quite a few images to go through - I'm hoping to get to them this weekend. And, of course, I'm having trouble uploading the sample from Antelope Canyon that I was going to attach - which was the whole reason for this post!! 

Boys and Girls Club of WNY

I'm going to be donating my services to the Boys and Girls club of WNY, and photographing their 2009 AkidEMY awards ceremony on May 8th. I can't wait!

Duh!

It's been half a week, and I never updated my blog!!! I went to the Sabres game last week and took my E3/50-200/EC-14 with me. I got some pretty good photos - check them out and let me know what you think. 

New Lens :)

Yeah, I'm a gearhead - I salivate when I get to play with new toys. I finally bit the bullet and bought a lens which I've been wanting for almost 3 years now - the Zuiko 7-14mm F/4.0. It's widely regarded as one of the finest ultra-wide angle lenses available. Its uses are specialized - it'll only help in certain situations for weddings, and won't help at all for portraits - but the landscapes when I travel to Zion National Park in a month or so are going to be spectacular.

I can't wait!

Front page update!

You probably saw when you came in, but I updated the front portal today. It took quite a while to find the right mix of photos and the right button locations, but I'm pretty pleased with it. 

I made the update primarily so I could include a link to wedding proofs, because Kacie and Tyler's photos are done now! Check them out and let me know what you think. 

Kacie and Tyler

I recently photographed Kacie and Tyler's wedding - congrats, guys! My wonderful girlfriend Sue helped me shoot the wedding, since my back was giving me trouble - thanks to the second shooter, we ended up with 2450 photos to go through! I've been going through them over the past few days, and I have it narrowed to about 600-700 photos. If you're looking for them, I'll have them up soon - but for now, here are a few:
